life as we know it; my soul to take; you again; jersey shore; american idol; life

Okay firstly, I got a job, so that's part of the reason I haven't been posting. I was so busy in trying to find one, I just wouldn't update. Secondly, my mom and dad are not fully supportive of my blogging because I'm not getting paid for it..they kind of shot down my blog. But I realized I didn't care. I don't care what they think. It's my blog not theirs. So no more missing my updates. This will be a very long blog since I have a lot to write about.
Life As We Know It with Katherine Heigl was a great movie. I've watched it about ten times so far. It's about these two people, who at first are set up on a blind date and end up hating each other from day 1, but they have to be friends because their the best friends of a couple. The couple ends up dying and they inherit the couple's baby. All of there problems are legit. With both of them in booming businesses, and they both have a social life, a lot of that must be sacrificed for the new child in their lives. It is hilarious and touching in a lot of ways. Especially seeing how these two put their differences inside. Great movie.
My Soul To Take was also epic. I loved it. The entire movie was kick-ass. It had me on the edge of my seat and trying to guess who the "Ripper" was. I give this movie two thumbs up and 5 stars. I also love the guy that plays Bug. He is adorable! He played in Catch That Kid with Kristen Stewart. The DVD has multiple alternate endings and openings. The deleted scenes are also great, but you can't put all that into a movie with a specific time limit and audiences short attention span. Anyway you should check it out indeed.
You Again, was all right. I didn't exactly fall in love with it. I liked it, but not enough to watch it again. The cast is great and the script was well written. It was also a very original plot. There are some movies you just can't seem to love no matter how great it is. But to each his own. See it for yourself.
Jersey Shore just seems to be repeating itself. Last episode Ron went ballistic and destroyed all of Sammi's things after she grinded on some dude right in front of him. They broke up, and she left. I saw this coming. Next episode the girls supposedly take Sammi's side of the argument.\I must say though, if a guy destroyed my stuff, I would chop off his favorite body part in his sleep then sue his butt. I mean c'mon. Jersey dudes must be crazy. First there was tom, Jwoww's ex, and now Ron. "there must be something in the water."
American Idol is really pissing me off. The auditions were bull. I mean they continued to show the bad ones. I hated that. I mean honestly, I watch American Idol to see people who can sing. If I wanted to watch people sing badly I'd search it on YouTube. And screw what Randy says. I think that, Paula and Simon made that show. I do love me some Steven Tyler but Jennifer Lopez is just trying too hard to be like Paula. That's just my opinion anyway.
This week is group week. There was way too much drama tonight. With Jaycee, the fifteen year old with the rockin voice, getting kicked out of his group, it made me want to punch Clint, dude that made the decision to kick him out, in the face. I did like the country singer and how he apologized though, that was very sweet of him. I however am still pulling for Lauren to win. She is my favorite of the contestants. I am also way over that Ashley character. She is completely crazy and she annoys me. "like Britney Spears is my bff for life." CRAZY.
My life has been non stop outrageous. I figured it's going to take me at least 6 months to get enough money to get to Tennessee. I need to save up $6000. That's a ton of money that I don't have. I'm going to need to work a lot more than what I am going to be working. I'm hoping that if my hours are going to be what they said they will be, that I can get a second job. I am going to start my diet and work out tomorrow. I'm tired of gaining this weight. It only took me about a year to get back into a size 6. So I'll just have to step it up. I want to be the ideal normal person when I leave for Tennessee. I'm also hoping to live in Nashville. I hear it's nice. They also have apartments there that are actually affordable for what I'm looking for. I can't say I'll miss Texas though. I've had a lot of heartache here and I can't wait to leave it behind.
bahaha I love snooki. (:

my apologies; american idol; jersey shore; happy birhday carter.

I know it's been a while since I last updated. I've been a bit busy with going to the gym and taking care of Carter (my puppy).
Anyway let's catch up.
American Idol, I took notes on both the episodes that I failed to update on.
My favorite in Milwaukee was a native Chicago gal. I can't find her name on google. But I thought she was grand.
But my favorite so far was the very last audition in Nashville, TN. Lauren Alaina. She's 15 and she dedicated her audition to her cousin, Holly is a cancer survivor. I thought her audition was by far the best I have seen this season. Steven Tyler even predicted that she was the one. It was amazing though. And her story, like many others, touched my heart. She told how Holly inspired her to sing when she was little.
Next week auditions are going to be held in Austin. Yep, my state is next. Let's see if anyone can show up Lauren. I doubt they will, but you never know.
One person I think shouldn't have made it through was Miss Teen USA. Stormi Henly. She wasn't good. I mean she wasn't as good as most of the people that got through. I think the only reason she got through was because she was drop dead gorgeous. She fit the image. And there is auto tune now. Maybe she'll be the next T-Pain.
Jersey Shore was interesting. Sam was going to leave after she punched Ron in the face for talking to Jenny.. I think that screams insecure. And I can't be sure but I think Deena's dirty little secret was that she liked to suck butt...I don't know. They beeped out everything. But I'm pretty sure that's what it was about. I can't believe that though. I like Deena. Hell, my best friend's name is Dina. I know it's spelled differently but it's pronounced the same. Anyway Sam didn't end up leaving. She cried to Ron, and they made up. Big surprise. Although things don't look so good for next week. We'll just see where things take the Jersey Shore cast.
Happy birthday to my puppy Carter. He's 3 months today. He's getting so big. Today he jumped off the arm of the couch and hit his chin on a step. It was so sad. He was trying to follow me, like he usually does, but I think he should have gone the usual way.. He didn't cry or anything though; he just shook it off and kept jumping up the stairs.
I haven't talked to my mom in a while. I don't plan to either. Every time I do, it ends badly. Even if it starts off well, she always has to make some snide remark to criticize me. It's not really a big deal to me anymore. I do care about her; I probably always will. I just can't do this to myself anymore. If she doesn't want me in her life, then I'll just have to deal with it in a mature way. Tomorrow is my little brother's birthday. He's turning ten. I got him a card. I can't get him anything that he doesn't already have.
I will update after American Idol and again after Jersey Shore. I got a new movie today and plan to watch it tonight. Hopefully, it's good. I haven't seen it yet.

American Idol; jersey shore; freaking blackberry

Okay so American Idol was on last night. My favorite audition was the very last one. She had her daughter when she was 18 and they told her not to have her because of problems. She did. (: She sang for her daughter and now gets to go to hollywood. Jennifer Lopez started crying during the audition and then went to meet her daughter after she was done. She sang temporary home by Carrie Underwood. It made me cry because I could hear the passion on the song in her voice. It was so emotional. Oh but I also really liked that 15 year old. Who knows? He could be the next chubbier Justin Bieber!!!! (: But Idc what he wieghs his voice was freaking fantastical!
Jersey Shore= Free Snooki. Now why do not have one of these shirts??!?! If I ever see one, I'm totally buying it. Anyway Snooki was arrested in the last episode, she of course was released the next day. I was sooo happy. But things took a turn for the worst at the end of the episode. Tom, Jwoww's boyfriend (well ex-boyfriend now) stole her bed, her watch she got for graduation, and bookoos more. And he locked her animals in a hot house! JERK! You don't do that to living things you psychopath. I would be scared to do any of that stuff to Jenny cause I'd be afraid she'ld cut off my balls (if I were Tom). But Snooki was a trooper and went with Jenny. They had to break into Jenny's own house. I'm excited for next week. Looks like Sam is finally going to leave!!! so freaking excited. I mean Ron didn't even do anything this season; she's been with him the entire time. So she accused him of cheating on her again. Which is crazy, I think Ronnie has done more than enough to prove that he screwed up in Miami. Hopefully she won't pull an Angelina and come back after she leaves.
Okay so what's freaking blackberry mean? Well apparently blackberry has a major national outage. Guess whose phone that includes?! MINE!!! yayyy! I can't send or receive texts messages. I am so pissed about this. I wouldn't actually be quite so mad if they knew how to fix it or how long it was going to take to fix it. But no, it's unfixable thus far. I think that's what hacks my boobs. No one knows how long my phone will be like this. I should probably never gamble because I don't have any luck. None at all. ):
dear blackberry/verizon,
get your crap together!

American Idol; The Perks of Being a Wallflower; shall we call him "bo"

First of all, American Idol premiered tonight. It was okay, I guess. I miss Simon and Paula. I think J.Lo was the best they could come up with, to replace Paula, although I don't really ever remember singing any of her songs.. Steven Tyler is freaking rad, but he's not Simon. I think that everyone loved Simon, even if they tried to pour water on him. Okay, so not everyone loved Simon, but they all respected him. I think it was because he was so honest. Some of the stuff he said to some of the contestants were mean, but it was always true. Some of them really shouldn't even sing in the shower let alone sing on national television. Steven Tyler sill rad though.
Okay so the contestant of the night was the chick from North Carolina. She was definitely my favorite. How do I judge this by all the people I saw within a two hour period? She was the first one I remembered after the show was over. I also remember the girl who was crazy; she's in love with Britney Spears. She cried and danced and cried some more. Oh, and she sang. I also really like the girl that came over from another country, she was good. Her dad was the war refugee from Cosovo. Her story almost made me cry. And last but not least, well he the last one of the tonight's show. I don't remember any of their names I am sorry for that. But he grew up in the Bronx, NY. I don't know what it's like over there, but from what I saw on TV tonight, it's not where anyone hopes to grow up. I am so happy that he has a shot at something great. Just going to Hollywood is amazing. And the way his twin brother was so happy for him really got the tears going. Anyway, I will have an update tomorrow on who were my favorites. If you're reading, tell me your favorites and why! I'd love to hear them. If you know the people I was talking about on here, I'd also appreciate it if you told me their names, if you remember.
Secondly, right now I am reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower. So far it is a great book. It's basically about a teenager growing up. I wasn't into it at first, but I tried again. I figure if I'm going to be a book editor someday, I might as well start reading things I don't always enjoy, BUT this book isn't so bad. I actually can't seem to put it down. I can't figure out what's wrong with this kid. In the book, he writes letters to the reader, and that's how he tells you what's going on in his life. Like a diary. At the beginning it foreshadows things that are going to happen in the book, but everything takes time. It's a great book, thus far. I'll just have to continue reading. It has all the great reading material in there though. It talks about relationships (first loves), death, family, school, friendship, drugs, alcohol. I'll let you know what I thought of it after I've read it all. I love to read. Do you guys know any great books? Authors? Let me hear them. I'm open to anything.
And Lastly, we come to my life. So there is this guy. Well, there was this guy.  I'm not going to use his real name, so shall we call him Bo? Okay well Bo broke my heart over the summer. He was amazing. He was a gentleman, although he told me upfront that he was douche bag. I never saw it. I first saw him while he was doing his laundry and getting a Sunkist out of the vending machine. I first spoke to him as he was walking to the dorm's back door. I asked him what his name was and he told me. He also asked for mine, I told him. He said cool. I thought that was the end of it. I was wrong. He came into the lobby area with one of my good friends, Nic, where everyone was, including me. We had a very interesting discussion, but Bo kept to himself for the most part. I went outside to smoke a cigarette and invited Bo to come along. We talked and talked. Finally he said he was going to go to Whataburger. He turned around and asked if I was coming. Of course, I did.
Okay I've always been a sucker for brown eyes, I don't know why. But it wasn't just the brown eyes here, it was everything. I liked his laugh. I liked his honesty. Yeah, I thought he was hot, but that wasn't all there was to him. He was on the golf team. I grew up playing golf, and every guy I'd ever dated, made fun of me for it. When he told me that, all I could think was no way. I didn't go to bed until 6 a.m. I don't remember how it got to the point that it did. I don't remember how it got to me, almost three weeks later, sitting in his passenger seat looking out the window and not saying a word. Not even when I left. The day he "dumped" me, was the same day my job told me they were cutting hours which meant no more income for me. Not at all. I cried. Not for Bo. Not for the money. But because that day had been so awful. I remember his chest, I remember his unshaved face scratching my cheeks. I remember him actually being able to sing. I remember how he made me laugh. I remember how he grabbed me and tickled me when I looked out his window. I remember everything. I remember how desperate I got. I mean I did things I used to make fun of. I remember being so hurt that I drank so much I couldn't stand up, and Nic had to carry me to my car. That was when the partying started. Sometimes it really does suck having such a great memory. His friends even tried to get with me after that. I said no to all of them though. I was strong enough for that. Maybe that wasn't it though, maybe it was that none of them were him, yet they all reminded me of him. I don't know.  This has been months ago. So why am I writing about this now? Well it's the first time I've thought about Bo in a long time. Since Bo, I've been a different person. I don't settle for anyone. And I'm scared to death to date anyone. I'm afraid they're all douche bags diguised as great guys. It's not like I hadn't dated before. I've had a lot of boyfriends. Bo was the last guy I ever let in though. For every other guy, getting over them was nothing. I'd find someone else. No big deal. But Bo, no one makes me feel like he did. No one makes me laugh at their stupid sarcastic jokes. Trust me, I've tried to move on. He's the only guy I haven't been able to replace. I know that sounds stupid. But it's true. I guess I should've run away when everyone told me to do so. I guess instead of taking the risk of going to Whataburger with him, I should've said "no thanks." I feel so empty. Anyway, that's enough of Bo. I need to get some sleep. If you want to also tell me about a similar experience you've had. Go ahead. I'd love to read about it. (:

jersey shore; tosh.o; my life as i know it.

First of all, Jersey Shore was on tonight, it was a new episode. I don't actually know if Ron and Sam broke up, but I do know that Snooki got arrested which almost resulted in me crying for her. I love Snooki. Now I don't know why I hate Sam so much. It might be because she reminds me so much of my mother, but we're not going to talk about her right now. Anywho, Deena got thrown out of the club, Karma, I think that was the club. Anyway a lot of stuff went down after Deena got kicked out for being way too drunk. Snooki and Jwoww go upstairs, which is closed off by the way. Jenny has to pee and guess what? No bathrooms upstairs, so she pees behind the bar.. Now I can kinda see where she was coming from, behind the bar is probably the only place you'll get any privacy, but if it were me, I would've found a plant. I know that's not any better, but that's a health code violation behind the bar, you know? Anyway Sam apologized to Snooki and to Deena, I was kinda hoping she would apologize to Jenny too, not just because it was the right thing to do, but also because Jenny would've beaten her up...again. and I never grow tired of that.
Moving on. Tosh.O always cheers me up. Daniel Tosh is probably one of the funniest guys on TV...he's also on Comedy Central, if you haven't heard of him, check him out, he's pretty frakkin funny. Sometimes I feel bad about laughing at some of the stuff on his show but then he gives me a good reason why it's okay to laugh. I haven't figured out if he's gay or not though, which doesn't really matter to me, I'd just like to know. I hear a lot of arguements about that.."oh he's so gay." "have you heard him say it?" "no but he totally is." yeah I know, totally mature. Anyway Daniel Tosh can always cheer me up, which is why I watch him whenever I can, even if it's a rerun. TGFDT. Thank God For Daniel Tosh!
Alright well I'm really depressed that I won't be starting my second semester of college tomorrow. It really sucks. I wish I had some freaking money. Apparently it's really hard to find a job anywhere in the U.S. Good job Obama on those jobs... anyway. that's all I have to say on that subject.
If you read this tell me what you think of all three of these subjects. Or pick and choose which ones you would like to talk about. I'll read them and get back to you. (:

the social network, jersey shore, and my own life.

So the social network was a fantastic movie. Although the man who invented Facebook turned out to be a complete ass, good call Erika Albright. I don't think that was his intention though. See, as I got to thinking, what would I do if I had been in his shoes. Which would never happen, because he's a genius, and I am not. Although I do consider myself intelligent, compared to him I would be a retard. I think many people would though...Anyway, going back to my former subject, he screws his best friend over..wait let me rephrase, he screws his ONE and ONLY friend over. Although I wasn't there, I know this lawsuit actually happened. Apparently it is a movie, but there has to be some truth to it, right? Anyway in the end I didn't feel sorry for Mark. I felt sorry for Edwardo. There are parts of the movie that make you think he's a great guy. Which, he may be. I don't personally know him. But I do know that I cried for Edwardo that had been through hell and back to help out Mark.
Jersey Shore Season 3 Episode 2. I am officially annoyed by SAM. She follows Ron like my puppy follow me. When I leave him he cries and just struts right along with me where ever I go. I hope she leaves soon, because like Deena says she is just a piece of furniture there. She's boring and I do think she's become the new Angelina. Besides the fact that she has Ron. For now. I don't see how Ron can deal with it. I mean even a married couples are apart sometimes. No one is constantly together. It would drive them insane, or well just drive them away. Especially a dude. They have to have guy time. Whatever what do I know? I don't even have a boyfriend at the moment. The only committed relationship I am in is with a gym. And Carter, but he's my puppy. <3 talk about puppy love.
Alright now it's my turn to complain! yay! I need a job. I need a new set a parents. Any takers? And God do I need a life. All I do is sit around smoke cigarettes, watch TV, go to the gym, and take care of my puppy. I miss college! Problem is I don't have enough money for it. College is pretty damn expensive.
Dear Obama, did you know that over 50% of the people the government helps out with financial aid spends their awarded money on alcohol, drugs, and new clothes? yeah, yeah, I know you're a busy man and all. How's about you help me out with my situation because, well, hell, I actually want to learn something and get an education.
Thanks for your "help",
Brittany
Anyway, if I were to actually get financial aid I wouldn't be spending it on drugs, alcohol, or clothes...OK so maybe I'd spend some of it on clothes...I am a girl. Anyway, I'd spend what was needed in gas and food and cleaning supplies, maybe get an apartment, instead of rooming with a thief. After all that was taken care of, I'd put it in an account that I would save for the next year. SO I could pay for the classes I needed to take. I am so ready to be a freaking adult already. I'm talking 29. i want to be out of college and in an office already. Actually doing something with my life. I already know what that something is. Buttttt, I need to go to freaking college first. And to do that, I need to get a job first. Great. Okay well it's almost 4 a.m. and I don't even know how I'm still awake. So I'm going to bed. Goodnight

Jersey Shore and Carter

Okay first of all, Jersey Shore premired tonight. I'm watching the rerun right now. First of all, Deena gets the new slut award. I like her, she seems nice, but who takes their clothes off the first night?!? I mean Angelina didn't even do that. Samantha on the other hand, is an idiot jerk. Deena was very nice to her at first, she tried anyway. Sam was just a jerk. She is a miss priss. Reminds me of the girls in high school. According to the run down of the season, she leaves, but she did that to herself. She could have made amends with everyone after the whole note thing broke out in Miami, but no she's too stubborn for that. I don't personally know the girl, but Jwow and Snooki were just trying to be good friends without starting crap with Ron. Snooki is my favorite person. I'm just like her though, I'm "4.11" and have an outgoing personality. Vinny is definitely the hottest guy on the show. I also think Snooki might be rethinking her decison to invite Deena. I don't think Vinny knew that once he banged Snooki that she would get attatched. I don't think Snooki knew either, but it happened. I feel bad for Snooki but I also feel bad for Vinny.
Sooo Cater is my new puppy. He's a morkie (maltese/yorkie). He's only 2 months old and he is adorable. I love him sooo much already. I'm very protective of him and I can't stand being away from him very long. He follows me every where though, so I don't have to be far from him long unless I actually go somewhere. Although that hasn't happened yet. He has been traveling with me in my purse since I got him. He doesn't bark either so when I take him to brookshires, no one even knows. He's my ninja dog. (: anyway that's enough for tonight.
by the way update for my mommy issues. I miss her more every day. I love her and I don't think I'll ever be the person she expects me to be, but I can't help that. Maybe one day, I will get close. For now our relationship will have to be over the phone.
